SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th is Grandparents Day! Did you know Grandparents Day was started back in 1970 when a woman named Marian McQuade wanted to establish a national day to celebrate grandparents? She wanted to celebrate and honor the connection between generations. In 1978, President Jimmy Carter declared the first Sunday after Labor Day to be National Grandparents Day and we have been celebrating it ever since!

Unfortunately, Little River will be unable to hold our traditional Grandparents Day lunches this year BUT we still want you all to celebrate the amazing grandparents in your life...Welcome to the 2021 LRE VIRTUAL GRANDPARENTS DAY CELEBRATION!
