Thanks to a successful Fun Run year Little River Elementary PTA is proud to announce our first-ever S.O.A.R. Scholarship. This scholarship was created by your LRE PTA to give back to 5th graders from being an Eagle to the next chapter on their education journey. One winner will be chosen from each 5th grade class and awarded $200.00 to use for educational purposes. These scholarships can help students who need support for school supplies, funding for activities or camps or provide support for anything they may need as they navigate to middle school. The scholarships will be awarded to students during the 5th Grade Graduation Ceremony in May.

 

Requirements include:

*Student is a 5th grader at LRE

*Parent/guardian must be a LRE PTA member

*Complete scholarship application online

*Students will need to share a time when they demonstrated an action using one of the 4 categories of S.O.A.R. (S-Show Greatness, O-Offer Kindness, A-Aim for Success, R-Respect All). This essay should be typed by the student and no longer than One page. Please be sure to include the student's name, grade, and teacher's name on the back of the essay. (Please turn the essay into the box located in the Annex office)
